I am a "newbie" interested in learning music.
I dont know where else to ask this question. The "really helpful" apple store was unable to answer this . I would like to know if Logic express can edit AIFF or AAC files. Stuff like normalize, splicing aiff files. I currently record dictations on my mac and would like to use a software to normalise and remove sections of the sound files. I used to use spark XL which for some reason is not working since I upgraded my computer. It seems TC works has discontinued this product Please help |

If you are looking to replace Spark you might look at Peak or Peak LE.
Probably the best stereo file editor for OS X. Also DSP Quattro. Logic Express can edit files like that , but for what you want to use it for, it is probably overkill. Hope that helps, This post has been edited by td3k: Sat 29 Jan 2005, 16:24 -------------------- |

As td3k said, Logic is probably overkill for just that, I've used Peak DV 3.0 with the FC Pro 3 bundle and I like it a lot.
