hey I was looking for this too. Something like mixmiester for mac. Just recently switched over to mac and now I'm starting to think twice if I made a good choice since there is alot of software not available for mac. Did you find the software similar to mixmiester for mac yet. Seemed like this forum ended.

I had mixmeister bundled with my first computer. First of all, it ain't that good. I would be the first to say that there is not alot of software for the mac but all of it generally works really well. There is alot of cheap funky software available for the PC but most of the stuff for Macs are with the idea that you will do it professionally at some point. Having said that check out www.kvraudio.com & do a search. If its out there it can be found there.

You could try Grid Pro by Vidox.

On another issue...... I would respond to this group more often but it is the slowest loading URL of any that I have tried to access and I have a T3 connection.

I think the only software that you can do non live linear mixing for Macs is Ableton Live 6

bummer mixmeister isnt compatible with osx, it looks really good

Yeah the full version of Mixmeister sounds really cool. I would have to fully back Ableton though. I use Live 5 & expect to upgrade to 6 very soon. Ableton has a free, fully functioning (save disabled) demo that you really oughta check out.

I will. Just yesterday I noticed that my audio would not play (the demo) and I went to a forum and found this. The group (Mac Users) might want to take not of this procedure to cure an audio (no play) situation:

Discussions

Do you have GarageBand installed on your computer. If so, open the application, as this has been shown to restore sound.

You mention having checked all the sound controls. If you haven't done so go to your Utilities folder. Select Audio MIDI Setup.app. Audio Devices panel - right side output settings ought to be 44100 hz, 2 channel 16 bit. Sliders to the far right.
