Hi all out there,

I am looking for replacement applications for my old Sounddesigner II & Masterlist CD from Digidesign.
Does anyone know about similar products on OS-X?
Thanks for your help

Durga

Hi Durga,

I used Sounddesigner II and Masterlist CD for years. What you want is PEAK from Bias-inc. It will look very much like Sounddesginer II eccept for many more DSP features, plugins, etc. Download the free demo. You will feel right at home.

For Masterlist you need to check out TOAST with JAM from Roxio.com Once again, the same thing but with many more features.

DAO10 is absolutely right Peak and Jam are the new toys (there isnt any much more choice)

But having used SoundDesigner II for yearS, i never feel at home with Peak : I cant say why : may be because of the way the transport is done, or because some basic shorcuts are missing (despite the fact that you can re-assign them)...

Roxio Jam opposed to MasterListCD is really more powerfull and convenient... and cheaper! (MasterlistCD was sold $1000!)
