I am currently using Logic Pro 6 and have a Q10 Pro audio interface by Aardvark. I just added a second Q10 and have it working but seem to be having a problem setting it up with the Logic. ON the arrange window, tracks 1 - 8 are audio inputs and correspond with inputs 1 - 8 on the Q10, no problem. However, the next 8 tracks are 'audio inst' 1 - 8. My question is, How do I set up the arrange window so that tracks 9 - 16 will be also be audio tracks that will correspond with my second Q10?

Currently the only DAW that supports multiple interfaces in OSX is DP4, hopefully multicard support will re-appear in Logic7 cool.gif

I had this problem with adding audio tracks

My default song only came up with 24 audio tracks and 60 insturments which was a bit the wrong way round.

If you go to the environment window you can add audio tracks - check the manual for details but I remember it was fairly easy.

My only problem after that - was - where do I save my default song so it comes up every time I create a new one?

Hope this helps even if it is not very desriptive - it's early here in the UK!

Cheers
M

Once you have set up a logic session the way you want it, and this can include useful things on the arrange page such as clicks and chord memorisers in the enviroment page, save it as "Autoload" in your logic folder. Every time you create a new session this shouldl load up as your default.
