I have a Mac G4 and I recently installed a Creative Labs Soundblaster Card.
Last night I hooked up the midi for the first time with this new card and
Soundiver does not
recognize the Fizmo. I scanned and did the "loop tests", double checked the
midi cables,
switched the in and out cables and still no luck with Soundiver.
Are they compatible?
I was able to use Soundiver with a serial midi interface on an older 6100 Mac
and it worked fine
with my Fiz.
Last night I used Cubasis to play a midi file thru my Fizmo and it worked.
that's why I'm
wondering if Soundiver is compatible.
Please help.

for a start. soundiver works best with logic (it actually links) and a unitor family midi interface. wink.gif
soundblaster is a pc thing isn't it? huh.gif
sounds like a strange choice for a mac user.
i'm pretty certain that 'diver dosen't support it.
download the latest stuff for it from the emagic website.
they also have forums that might help too, at least make emagic aware
then they might decide it's worth supporting, but i doubt it! sad.gif
