Help please-
I'm using an MTP/AV interface in Internal master mode along with Digital Performer audio sequencer. I want to generate SMPTE LTC out of the SMPTE OUT jack to my Fairlight DREAM Satellite DAW. The MTP manual says it should generate LTC all the time, but it's not working for me. The Fairlight receives LTC fine from other sources, but not the MTP. I can get SMPTE timecode out when in Striping mode on the Clockworks software interface, but I don't want to do that. I want to run Digital Performer 4.12 and generate LTC to the external DAW (Fairlight). I need to slave the Fairlight to DP, i.e. drive the Fairlight from DP.
Somebody please help me with this. I've been scratching my head for days!
I'm using DP 4.12, MOTU MP/AV USB MIDI interface, MOTU 828 FireWire Audio I/O, and a Mac G4 Dual 500 Mhz.

Thank you!
