Hey there,

Can someone tell where I should put my samples in order for the EXSP24 to read them? I'm in mac OSX 10.3.

Thanks guys!

well the /Library/Application Suport/Emagic/Sampler Instruments is a Link to another folder, but if you put them in that folder. I put mine there and have never had a problem.

I mean think i am weird or whatever, but they work. And i am pretty sure that this is what the exs book says too.

I was wrong Users/shared/EXSP factorysounds.

The install also puts sample instruments in the sample instrument folder inside of the Logic app folder.

You can create an alias and store them where you want to. I have mine sitting on an external firewire drive.

Do a google search there are several sites out there with instruments.

To build a quick sample library I purchased several of the Pro Samples series from EastWest, they come in .exs format.

here is the deal. in os x there is a link in /Library/Application Support/Emagic/ called Sampler Instruments. you can tell it is a link because of the arrow on the icon. put the .exs file there. then you can put the .aif or.wav files anywhere on any hard drive and the exs sampler will find them.

i mean you can do it other ways probably, but i know that this way works---- 4 sure smile.gif

happy recording,
