Hey everyone,
I use Digital Performer 4.12, and lately I've been discovering that there's quite a few freeware instruments out there for AudioUnits. What I'd really like to find is some kind of freeware sampler. Does anybody know of anything like that? Thanks.

It's not free but for $39 VSamp gets the job done.
Also comes with samples to download.
http://www.vsamp.com

I haven't tried it yet in DP4, been doing soft-synths in Logic.

Also check out http://www.osxaudio.com they have a chart and links to all OSX plugs.

For one-shot sound check out the Crossfade Loop Synth from Expert Sleepers.
