Hello,
I need to transfer quite a few finale files from a perorma 6200 (no cd burner or ethernet) to a g4 ibook (no floppy or serial port). In the past I have transfered the files via floppy to a pc and burned cd's there. this is obviously tedious. i would like to avoid hooking the performa up to the internet if i can. i seem to remember a long time ago creating a connection between the performa and another computer using the modem but not the internet. does anyone know how to do this?
thanks for your time and suggestions,
multijd

you could hook up the performa to a pc with a serial null(?german/english)-modem cable. file transfer is done for example with a terminal-program...
