I have an EXS sample cd that was made before the tide of OS X.

Is there a way to get the instruments from the cd into exs?

If I install with classic, will that work?

Thanks in advance

Which CD is it?

When you double click on the CD can you see any folders or just an installe program?

It's the factory library CD. I am currently using the EXS24 demo until I get my Logic Pro upgrade, so I got the cd from my teacher at college.

It does have a folder with all the aifs, but I'm the guys at emagic will map them better (with fine tunings etc) than I can.

So even if I install in Classic, then move the files to my logic samples folder, it wont work?

Copy the folder with the aiff's to anywhere on your drive. Then go to http://www.musicbootcamp.com/exs24.shtml and download the sampler instrument files and place them in your "sampler Instruments" folder in the Logic folder.

I just dragged and dropped the OS9 instruments to the proper folders of the OSX version.

On my laptop I created an alias to the instruments, located on an external drive.
