Can anyone draw some comparisons between these two?

Is Kontakt available for OS 9 RTAS?

i haven't messed around with Kontakt enough to give a fair comparison but Machfive is incredible. it's incredibly intuitive and definitely doesn't get in the way of me working. the sound shaping and editing features outway any Akai sampler i've ever owned.

i don't know what else to say...it's everything i hoped for and more. keep in mind, this is version 1.0 too! anyway, i've only had it for three weeks now and haven't regretted my decision. i hear Kontakt is a good sample player with lots of sound shaping possibilities but in turn i also hear problematic of an app it can be. i personally don't won't my equipment to hinder my ability to work on music.

good luck.
