Hi all,

I've just setup Absynth 2 on my Powerbook. I've downloaded and installed the recent update from Native Instruments, including versions 2.01, 2.02, and Audio Units setpup. The program works fine independently but when run as a plug-in within Logic 6.3.1, (rougly) one out of every five of the instruments failed to work. This message appears:

A sample failed to load! Absynth could not find file: __________.wav

Some examples of a 'missing' file are volcano pad 2.wav and cymbal bell c.wav. All of these missing files currently reside in Macintosh HD>Applications>Absynth 2.02>Samples. Why can the plug-in find some of them but not others. Any help would be greatly appreciate. Thanks everyone and take care

yes, i have had the same problem. i contacted NI's support forum and they mentioned that this will be
fixed with a new update, due soon. here is what Jake Mandell wrote:
"Try making a copy of the contents of the /Samples folder in the /Absynth 2 installation folder, and put all those samples in the same directory where the presets are.
Absynth 2.04 update will fix this anyway."
