so here i am with a new cubase sx cd in my hand, ambition in my eyes and a will to record a demo. The only setback? i've never used a digital recording program other than audiocorder (which, for it's lovely simplicity, is less than satisfactory)

so can anyone run me through the steps to setting up a decent recording? (i have no recording hardware.. just the one audio input on the back of my g4)
