I just had a Yamaha CD-R installed in my 8500/G3. This is my very first CD-R. Archieving my HardDrive etc has proven to me that a CD-R is worth every penny. Ok so doing that is easy.
My audio recordings are done either on a Roland VS-1680expanded, my computer, or a Yamaha 4tracker or some combination of all. The recordings done on the Roland VS are then played into one of my computer based midi/audio sequencers where it's recorded and some additional mastering done. Then the finished project is bounced. So I've got the bounced audio tracks in my computer for several recording projects. Now what do I do ? I am trying to burn a CD with music tracks that would be playable in any home type of CD player. Don't have a clue how to do that because what I've tried so far is not working. Incidently I am using Toast Deluxe 4.1.2 Please help. |

Basic way :
all files (stereo interlaced) should be in AIFF Drop them in toast in an audio CD format. burn Now you can tune the gaps before each track (save the first one) if you want. -------------------- Our Classifeds • Nos petites annonces • Terms Of Service / Conditions d'Utilisation • Forum Rules / Règles des Forums • MacMusic.Org & SETI@Home

Many many thanks.
That sure got me going towards burning my very first CD of some of our own music I recorded on a Roland VS1680. I had the aiffy files and then I was trying to dump those files I placed inside a folder, or some goofy attempt like that. Why is it the obvious is always obvious when some else tells. I sure am greatfull for the hints/help. walt |
