huh.gif I own an ibook g3 800mhz, 640mb ram, i'm trying to capure audio from an imic usb, but i get a lot of clipping and popping, and too much latency, i've tried on OS9 and X with Deck 3.5, Peak 3.2, but the same problem comes up.

Should i buy another audio interface? what do you recommend me for low latency ??

Thank You

First remember iMic is The entry level of audio I/O… but I can be greatly bettered…

First by fiddling around for levels with the switches

Second by using one of the drivers sold on the net the one I recall (used and approved by people on this very forum) is made by USB Audio. It should solve the cracklings and improve latency.

Upon other interfaces there's quite some choice available from entry level to very high end so… cool.gif
