Hey all:
Now that I have successfully procrastinated in buying a USB interface for my iBook I see that the Firewire 410 appears to have been released.
Who is using it? Any glitches? How is sound quality? Preamps okay? Am i right in assuming that I can connect my firewire external hard drive to the 410 and expect it to function properly going "through" the 410? Etc.

I found a couple of posts in another forum about potential problems with chaining the Firewire 410 to a firewire HD. Hope this helps. http://www.osxaudio.com/forums/viewtopic.p...ewire+410#28124I also read a very positive review from one poster in the same forum. It will take some time to get a consensus.
