I am using the Moog Modular on my 800mhz G4 powermac, and I am finding that, even in mono mode, certain patches completely devour my processor power. Is this normal, or is there a solution. I am alos having problems controlling pots with midi ccs through Logic 5.5 Any ideas?

I can't answer your Logic question, but I have been using Moog Modular on a G4 800 MHz Powerbook, and I also find that some patches will easily max out the processor. So, I guess it's "normal", in the sense that you aren't doing anything wrong, but I also hope that Moog Modular gets some optimization in future Mac releases. For what it's worth, I hear it works well, with never more than 60% CPU usage, on higher-end (2 GHz and above) Pentium systems. That makes it almost worth considering a PC as a Modular station...
One would expect much better performance on a G5, of course. It may be that Moog Modular is so processor-intensive that slower G4s just can't keep up, or it may be that the 1.0 release just hasn't been fully optimized.
