Hi guys! Cool site! I need help transfering my midi files from my PC to my iBook using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 and Metro 5 or Pro Tools Free. When I do a midi import from the floppy disk from Home Studio 9 to Metro or Pro Tools neither app sees my midi files. But if I open the floppy disk on my desktop my midi files show with a Quick time icon. Any suggestions on how to do this? Thank You!

Go to http://www.zdnet.com/downloads/mac/download.html
And type in File Typer, basically your mac doesn't know what created the file. File typer will enable you to get the correct file type. Or you can open them with QuickTime, and it will do it's own file conversion. Also verify that you are svaing the PC files in standard mdid format. -------------------- G-Dub
