I'm trying to find a program which will let my
power mac G-3 (OS 9.2.2) edit sequences recorded on my Roland MC500mk II if I put a floppie from the Roland into the mac it will reinitilise the disk and erase all data. thank you, ricsimp@earthlink.net |

Maybe you could hook your Roland up to the Mac using a midi interface...Let the mac record the midi data from the Roland using the midi sequencing / recording program in the mac.... Just a thought.

the floppy is probably in a format that the mac cannot read and thus doesn't know what to do with it and that is why it asks to initialize it. As mentioned... you might want to look for midi interface and app like Logic, Cubase, ProTools, etc.
