anyone tried using these two together? i'm trying to run them on my iMac 2002 and need to use iMic for input.I cannot seem to get the application to recognize the iMic. I can set the iMic in the sound preferences and see the levels in the preference window. I can also find the iMic in the device setup in the application, but there is mention of ASIO drivers and when I select the iMic it tells me that there are no inputs.

At this time, iMic is not supported in X (as far as I know) and the WHEN it'll be so is still to be written unsure.gif

i does work in OSX. i've used it with other simple recording apps, even Deck 3.5, but Cubase SX doesn't seem to recognize it.

If you search for "imic" and "coreaudio" driver on Google, you'll find a company that's working on a Coreaudio driver that supports the imic. It's only a beta right now, and the unregistered version beeps every thirty seconds. But, it supports simultaneous in/out at 24 bits. It seems to work okay in Cubase SX. I think the registered version costs more than the imic, though
