[B][FONT=Geneva][SIZE=7][COLOR=orange]has anyone use one of the Mic Modeling plugins tht are out there?
I was looking at the Antares Mic Mod. Was hoping for a demo,but can't seem to find one.

Never tried Antares, though a friend likes it well enough. On a related note, I use an Edirol UA-700 USB interface which has a mic modelling section onboard. Seems to make a nice difference to a few mics I've tried with it.

Mic modelling works in principle. Of course, it'd be much easier to spring for a vintage Neumann. laugh.gif

I used an Antares a couple of years ago. I though it was fantastic. It "warms" up the vocals nicely. It is also very versitile.
