Hi all, I'm 17 years old and I'm getting into some orchestral composition. I like to think that my first attempt is pretty good considering, but I'd really appreciate some other opinions on it. Any suggestions? The piece is still being written, but the one I have here is still pretty polished.

Big Music

That link will take you to a site where you can view and listen to my score. Please take the time to download the small plugin, once you have it there are thousands of scores on the site from many, many composers all over the world. Some are pretty good cool.gif .

Hi dOOki,
I don't mean to come off sounding like a dork, but your posting is borderline spam...something that is not tolerated on our fine site. Also, I highly doubt that anyone is going to download a plugin just to hear what you've got....

However, if you are serious about getting responces, I do have a couple of suggestions.

First; Get your music on an mp3 site. www.iuma.com www.soundclick.com and www.soungramp.com are a couple of sites that will host your music for free. You don't have to put the whole song up if you don't want to, a sample will do. Also some of these sites have a way to password protect your works, if you wish. This way people can give you a listen without too much of a hastle.

Second; MacMusic may not be the best place to ask for critiques on your music. Don't get me wrong, we're always willing to give everyone a fair shake, but rarely does anyone give feedback on others works. Some good sites for feed back would be www.jpfolks.com and www.tunesmith.com

anyway, good luck
