I, I am looking for something that can transfer mp3 to aiff on my hard drive. also looking for somethingthat can extract audio cd to aiff on my hard drive. Anyone know of any?

I alreay have itunes, but I dont see a way to tranfer MP3 to AIFF, or extract cd audio to my HD...

When you insert an audio CD an import button appears to your right at the top. If you click it, all the checked tracks (in the list), will be converted to the selected format (to select a format see the iTunes menu: Preferences> Importing).

To convert MP3 to AIFF, select the track you wish to convert, and then see the "Advanced" menu:
Advanced> Convert Selection to AIFF

Help is always in the "Help" menu:
Help> iTunes Help
Read it. It'll tell you everything you need to know.

If you're like me and don't like iTunes, try SoundApp. You can find it at www,download.com

It converts most audio file types to most any other file type, and it's free. Uses very little RAM and takes very little screen real estate.

QT Pro will also do that, along with many other things...
