Hi all, I'm the lucky owner of a Tyros2 and a (G5)Powerbook, but unfortunately I cannot seem to get the Yamaha USB interface working... so far I've managed to get keyboard strokes into Garageband using an M-audio UNO USB Midi interface, but how can I get outgoing sound via Midi to the Tyros? I tested this with QMidi and it worked, so the potential is definitely there, but I can't figure out what settings/drivers to use for getting Garageband to send to the tyros.
Thanks for any help out there!
Walter

Hello Walter, You got the piece of equipment! But Garageband can't send any midi signals. Read here: "GarageBand is a comparatively simple music program. It can only accept MIDI input. That is, you can connect a MIDI device to GarageBand and play GarageBand's instruments with it, but you can't have GarageBand transmit data back to the MIDI device so it plays music on the device." source: http://www.macjams.com/article.php?story=20040128064923856I've also Midi Uno, it;s very simple, just plug Uno's "midi out " to keyboards "midi in" and vice versa (Uno's midi in to keys midi out).
