Hey,

I exchanged my old interface with a new one, being the Tascam US-122. I'm having a whole new set of problems, though. The software I'm recording on, Audacity, freezes when I'm trying to record using the Tascam interface. When using the built in mic, the recording is fine. All of my recording is done on a G3 with MacOs X. Any help would be great. thanks,

tross

Alright now it's picking up something but it's skipping like crazy. It's like it records for a 1/4 second and then stops recording for a 1/2 second, consistently. It sounds a LOT like a skipping cd. Is my computer too slow to be running Audacity with a US-122 Tascam interface? It's a 400 mhz G3. Any suggestions?

Thanks much, tross
