Could someone give me a low down like a crash course in using Logic Express to record. I just want to know how I go about using my midi controller to input some software instruments. Tha way I can start learning the ropes. Logic Express seems so user-unfriendly compared to Garageband which seems so much more logical.

I am also having trouble recording my guitar into logic express. It has identified the device but nothing seems to go in or out in logic. Would someone have any step-by-step guide on installing and using a audio interface to record guitar in logic?

You have to select your device I/O in the channel strip, and arm the channel for recording.

Also watch the vids from the Apple site. http://www.apple.com/logicexpress/quicktou...ngfamiliar.html
