I have a Presonus Firepod, which I use for my home studio. I am impressed with the quality of the recordings, but I have noticed that the recordings/songs are quieter than other songs in my iTunes music library. I have to turn the sound up to get my band's songs up to hear them as well as other songs, but then other songs are too loud. How can I fix this problem/what could be causing it? How can I make my recordings normal volume?

I also use Cubase to record, if that is the problem.

Thanks,

Andrew

Are the other songs you speak about commercial tracks or your own? It may be a side effect of compression and mastering on them. wink.gif

My own. Also, I forgot to mention that they have been converted from AIFFs to MP3s. Just thinking of different factors that might affect it.
