I want to run a few tests to see how various host demo's cope with both VSTi's and AU's.
Is there a utility either on my mac(G4 i-mac OS10.3.9) or that I can download to measure how much processing power I am useing?

Activaty monitor is the first thing I thought of, but it just lets you know something is going on(just a move of the mouse would send it up to full).
I need something measureable.

For some basic info, Menumeters is spartan but way enough.

Activity monitor gobbles CPU just to work, and the top command in the Terminal gives too much info (yet lower in ressources).

major design floor in menu meter-its reading is in the menu bar at the top of screan. This bar is taken over by the programs i wish too measure unsure.gif
