The world needs a better song! Publishers, producers, artists, and the listening and buying public know this, so why doesn't the music industry? My name is Turk-a former member of the Curtom family out of Chicago....worked with the late, great Curtis Mayfield. Paradigm is changing, the majors only subscribe to marketing music (boy's band, stereotype R'n'B etc). If you don't fill in, the only way to survive is either to go sideways (game industry, films…) or to raise a following (live tour), or to jump on the internet bandwagon in the independent zone.
