only 5.3 works at all in osx.
and only in 10.1.5 or 10.2 wink.gif
however, virtually NO audio interfaces work with 10.2 at the moment.
5.2 and 5.3 are of course free downloads though, so why not download them? cool.gif

i must not have stated that clearly. I have logic audio 5.1.3(previous equivelent to silver) and i was wondering if the new download would work though it only mentions platinum, if not when would they have an updade for it? I hope that clears things up. biggrin.gif

It's true that for the moment only Logic Platinum 5.3 works under OS X, but there are plenty of audio interfaces already working under OS X as well, to name a few: Midiman's Quatro and Duo, Emagic's EMI 2|4, MOTU 828 (for the moment beta driver)... there are for sure more coming.

Emagic also has plans to update Logic Gold and Logic Silver to OS X, but as always they take longer (Platinum is always first on any new release).

sorry akirax,
i forgot that silver is now known simply as LA. unsure.gif
i think kamilof has answered the question, only thing i can add is that most audio interfaces/drivers will only work in 10.1.5 for the moment, in fact, the only audio interface listed by emagic as compatible with 10.2 is motu's 828. huh.gif
and, of course, no VST support!
there's a useful logic users' group at yahoo/chat/music/LA-mac. wink.gif
cheers...
