Hello all,

The new Motu Traveler is out for a couple months now...
So, now may people have bought/used both interface : the Traveler and the Fireface.

It could be interesting to get information or experience (good or bad) that you had with those interfaces.
Which one is the best for you and why ?

Let us know.

Thanks.

The pre of RME are superior to those of Motu. They are cleaner. The sound of the RME is more natural and sweet. The sound of the Motu is something metallic. RME is a step above. RME you can compare it with Metric Halo and Apogee.

How have you made the comparison between Motu and RME?

I have Motu and RME. I have compared them with the same sound and such monitors, Dynaudio and Genelec. With pre I did the same. The difference in quality of pre is great in favor of RME. In general the sound in RME is deep and rich. It does not tire. Motu with which I have worked several years, it reproduces plus middle, causing a more dry and metallic sound. MOTU is good but is in an step before to RME.
I would say that MOTU is in the highest as far as sound semi-professional. RME is in a totally professional field, and placed very well. The relation quality price of RME does still better.
