Hi everyone !

I'm reading with interest some discussions from various message boards concerning the noise that some Powerbooks make.

I'm looking forward to buy a latest generation Powerbook, and I am wondering whether this noise is polluting the audio environment or not ? In other words, is the static noise also present in audio in and outs (I plan to use a firewire souncard, something either by Motu or Presonus) ?

I think I could live with a noisy computer, but NOT with my recordings being polluted by static noise !

Is anyone confronted with this issue ?

Thanks for your enlighting responses !

Edouard
