I am currently using a M-Audio fw410 with an imac. The imac is now a bit broken so I just bought a G3 powermac to replace it. I want to know if there is an internal soundcard that does exactly the same stuff as the 410. I need XLR's and phantom power and a breakout box thingy.

If the G3 is a Blue & White, it has built in Firewire ports. No need to replace your FW 410, if it is a beige, you may want to install a PCI firewire card, definitely cheaper than a new interface.

Hope that helps,
