I have noticed there's a Logic Pro update 7.0.1 'out there' but when I went to the Apple website it does not appear to be available. I am loathed to update my software from anyone other than the proprietor. Can someone tell me

I just checked it out and it should be there- www.apple.com/software. There's a Download column on the right and you can choose the Pro or the Express download. It will give you a detailed list of all the fixes before you download.

It is also available using Software Update (same procedure as installing updates for all Apple software such as OS updates, iTunes, QuickTime, etc.)

Did I read that it was only availiable through software update, must admit I haven't looked for a download on Apple. When software update sees it you get a description of what it fixes before you choose to install it.
There are AU plug compatibility fixes, bounce fixes with TDM, umm a few others but I don't recall therm. -------------------- Simon Flinn
