Questions i'm askin here are: Do i need a soundcard and if so any recomendations. I want a ontroller keyboard and was lookin at the m-audio oxygen or something similar, but do i still need a soundcard and is it external or internal. i really don't have a scooby. any help would be appreciated cause i want to start writing some tunes.

look at musiciansfriend.com or samash.com and in their computer recording section. They have a few choices that may be right for you depending on your needs. I was considering an Echo card that 2 inputs and 2 ouputs for miy laptop. But if you are going to mess with midi... may look for a box interface with midi connection too that uses firewire or USB. cool.gif
