Just saw the Mackie Big Knob. Nice. Any opinions by users of pro/cons of Big Knob VS Presonus Central Station? Or any other such device for that matter. These seem great devices for people wthout mixers in a software mixing environment.

hey there ,
i had the same dilima , but now i have bought my product.......
I went for the presonus Central station + remote : its sound is pro and i am happy with it ,

Pros and cons

WEll it has no Hard ON OFF switch doesn't matter if you are leaving your computer on all the time , but most equipment i think should have one ...
apart from that everythings running smooth for me ...

I am sure the Mackie Big knob rocks to , its just for the extra cash its worth getting the presonus ,
oh yeah and the central station is rackmountable , the big knob is not .....

cheers mate
