i just picked up my first mpc ever. ive been messing with it all day it so much different then using that damn trigger finger. It cost about 2100 after tax but i think its well worth it. Let me know what you think or leave any tips for a newb. thanks

I actually had a conversation with one of the agents that are supposed to talk you in to taking the classes. After I told him what I knew already, he let me know that most of the teachers started out just like I did. And the only difference was they had been doing it for a long time. He said" Buy gear, learn the gear and produce. It's cheaper! May the force be with you.

best thing to do is talk to as many producers/live sound/sound engineers that you can....obviously everything is different inside a real studio...the sound of the microphone (is it a ribbon mic?).there yer creating...cheers, bro,
