I have a melodyne question for anyone who has the software, what's the main difference between Melodyne Plugin and Melodyne Cre8?I've been messing around with the demo and noticed a few things, are you able to copy a sequence of notes and drag them to a different octave in the plugin version to achieve a choir effect? Is that the main difference? What do people suggest buying?

Thinking about purchasing and any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The plug allows you to use Melodyne functions with your DAW of choice.

Cre8 is an 8 track stan alone version.

with the plug you don't have to re-import after making changes.

I thought Cre8 came with the Melodyne Bridge, allowing you to use it as a plugin....or is that just the full studio version?

The Bridge is Rewire-like in that it enables the host to talk to Melodyne, but it doesn't run Melodyne as a plug-in. The plug-in is newer and actually provides a portion of the functionality as a true plug-in, so Melodyne needn't be running in order to use the plug-in.

Thanks for your help...looks like the Plugin is what I want.
