what kinds of hardware do i need for a g3/350? i want to record music.

Depends on how much you are willing to spend and how much you want to do with your computer. At minimum... you need at least an audio interface with 2 channels of input. You can get an audio card that will do this for about $100-$200 but I have heard of something called an imic that is also around $100 which may work. Then you need an audio app for recording such as Logic, Cubase, ProTools, Sonar, Coaster, etc. It all depends on how dedicated you want to be and how much you want to spend. I recommend looking at some online shops like MusiciansFriend.com or Samash.com or Sweetwater.com for all the products that may serve your purposes and then if you have questions... call them up. They would be more than happy to explain anything to you especially if it means they are gonna make a sale.

thanks i got a behringer 4 channel mixer an amp and a lawrence acoustic pickup the amp is made by sears roebuck so i can just go main out to the g3 via line in outlet??? Im using sound sculptor for multitracking. what can you say about that?
